Q. Why should you drug test injured workers as soon as possible?
A. Florida Stature 440.09(3) states: “Compensation is not payable if the injury was occasioned primarily by the intoxication of the employee, or by the influence of any drugs, barbiturates, or other stimulants not prescribed by a physician.
On Site Workers Compensation Drug Testing allows you to close fraudulent claims at the onset of the incident, significantly reducing your claims exposure.
Did you know that Florida Statute 440.09(7)(c) states: “If the injured worker refuses to submit to a drug test, it shall be presumed in the absence of clear and convincing evidence to the contrary that the injury was occasioned primarily by the influence of drugs.”
It is more cost effective for an employer or carrier to pay a collector to perform a drug test at the hospital, than the alternative, paying for a claim based on that employee’s intoxication.

24 hour emergency response throughout the State of Florida. (after hour & holiday rates apply). Apollo Clinical will arrive at the accident scene, hospital, or site chosen at the employer or carrier's discretion, and perform a drug test panel of choice. Many employers conduct 10 Panel tests with Instant Results, plus adulterants.
